XTRF is designed to help translation agencies manage their business operations, orchestrating everything from sales and CRM functions to file management, translation workflow, and financial reporting. The product found its initial success in Eastern Europe and has now added customers in Western Europe and North America. XTRF’s 2.0 update arrived in 2011, modernizing the user interface and opening up the basic process paradigm for more flexible workflow design. Parent company Lido-Lang Technical Translations has been a commercial supplier of translation and localization services since 1991, specializing in Central and Eastern European languages. The company was registered for ISO 9001 in 2004 and EN 15038 in 2007. It first developed and then commercialized its internal business management system between 2003 and 2005, using a team of computer scientists from the European Institute of Information Technologies and Certification EUTECert. The resulting project was productized and is sold.
